How can I find out the allowable cost under Blue Cross/Blue Shield for an echo stress test?
Of course, after just recently switching my self-pay health insurance to a High Deductible plan, I need several tests. I have not touched my deductible or out-of-pocket yet. Only have to pay what the allowable would be under BC/BS. How can I find out what the echo stress test will end up costing me?
I know that not having the test could cost more already… THANKS!
The physician’s office that would be administering the Echo Stress test may be able to contact your insurer and tell you what the cost would be to you.
Ask the physician’s office to help. There will be someone who has to contact your insurer anyway!
