Do you think Social Anxiety disorder is best treated with Cognitive therapy or meds?

I was on paxil at one time and it did help..but i hate being on drugs….What has helped people who have social anxiety disorder?

I take Lexapro and Xanax and it works great. But, I’m starting Cognitive therapy, to eventually get off the xanax.

I have taken lexapro. It is alright to take the edge off. But anxiety is still there. Cognitive therapy is the way to go. I reviewed a few products on my site. Check out "Panic Away".

I was having the same problem and i was suffering from social anxiety and fear of death anxiety, i never wanted to take any meds , initially i was doing yoga, meditation and affirming that i am ok. But it was not all ok till i met my ‘friend ‘who suggested a "course" which can cure all types of anxiety. Initially i was unwilling to take that but my ‘friend’ suggested that ‘its ok you can take it’ then i decided to take that and i am so thankfull to him for this course. I would suggest you the same " yes, you can take it" its worth.
