Absolutely!!! Its totally playing havoc with your central nervous system and affects the release of chemicals to your brain. Plus it rots your teeth...and your life....the deterioration of your health will start slowly then creep up so fast you will wake up one day and look in the mirror with disbelief...trust me I know!
References :
It can certainly exacerbate the anxiety you already were prone to, and in addition to that, if you continue to take it and it becomes a habit, this can affect the part of your brain that causes you to have a "conscious" and can make you lose your capacity to care about others or society at large, the consequences of your addiction to others or even yourself, with the only care being an obsession to keep getting your drugs no matter how it hurts anyone else.
It seems like your anxiety is what stands between you and an addiction to this drug. Think about what you like about the drug. How it makes you feel. Many times people who are depressed, possibly clinically, are drawn to a drug that gives them a boost. The bad thing about the boost is the ultimate progression of addiction and the terrible betrayal of that best friend, the drug, if it comes to that.
Meth also seriously affects your teeth and bones and skin. It is very very bad news.
I'd recommend you see a doctor that specializes in addictions who can treat the problem that causes you to be drawn to that drug.
References :
I saw a special on tv about it. . .it does cause users to become extremely paranoid. After awhile their whole facial expression changes--they look so defeated and pitifully sad. They don't even look like the same people.
It also causes severe tooth decay--all their teeth fall out. True.

Why would you do anything so stupid to yourself!! Stop it now! Your body is telling you, "Stop doing this to me!"
References :
YES, it can cause that and worst. Paranoia at all times, panic attacks, anxiety, non-alertness, halucinations.
Meth is the most destructive drug that I know of, it is even worse than crack (depending on the strength of the meth) Believe me, that little bit of usage will lead to more as well, which will increase all likely hood of having those symptoms permanatly.
The good news is if you manage to quit the symptoms shouldn't stay with you. Those will manifest with long time usage and you will keep them for the rest of your life and require medicines to calm them.
I used to do it in the Rave scene in New Orleans around 1996-2000. I quit and I managed to not have those feeling anymore.
