Anybody with social anxiety tried hypnosis or hypnotherapy?

Yes, I have. But unfortunately it didn’t work. That doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work for you, but just telling you my experience. I wish you luck with your problem; I know it’s very difficult to live with. I wasn’t able to conquer it until I went on medication for it (Paxil). I hope you manage a non-medical way to deal with it, but if you don’t, just know that there are many options out there, including seeing a psychiatrist and/or going on medication (not trying to push pills; just saying that it’s an option and that that’s what ultimately helped me). :)

Yes i have and no it did not work. I would only seek medical treatment if it is so unbearable you can’t cope at all because sometimes medications make it worse and there is no cure anyways.

Hypnosis is not like what you see on tv as you will not be put into a trance because as these hypno therapists will tell you. these hypnotic states only exist in a very small % of people and they are more or less just faking it.
