if you’ve ever had a panic attack, you know how scary and uncomfortable it feels. well, the good thing about panic attacks is that they always end. I’m Dr. Evelyn Goodman, and I’ve helped many people overcome their difficulties with severe anxiety conditions, such as panic attacks. here are three things that you can do that will help the next attack go more rapidly. first off, don’t scare yourself. remind yourself that the attack will soon end and you’ll be fine. secondly, breathe through your nose only. this will help you to stop hyperventilating. and third, touch something. touch the ground, touch your shoulder, and as you’re doing so, say to yourself, “I am now touching my shoulder.” this helps ground in the here and now.

Thank you for reply…as you said, the blood pressure jumps only when the attack takes place. I still take pills for high blood pressure but even the cardiologist told me it is not because of heart issues, my heart is perfect…it is somehow an instant anxiety…I had even 22/11 …thank God that I never been to the hospital…every time this invisible force that humans call God which to me is an invisible FORCE OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! PANIC ATTACKS COME FROM DEEP ROOTED FEAR!

yeah, check it …
yeah, check it everytime. now it’s now that bad, the worse I get is 15/10 instead of my usual 12/8.
On one of the first ones I got when I didn’t know what I was going through, my pressure jumped up almost to 20. They rushed me to the hospital for that one.
But when I’m not having an attack, my pressure is normal. I don’t need to use pills to drop the pressure. I was on clonazepam with will make the pressure and heart rate down back to normal.

did any of you ckecked the blood pressure while the attack takes place? what is scarry for me is the fact that even the doctor gave me high blood pressure pills when the attack hits the blood presure jumps high and i feel my head spinning. i believe all of those who experience this attacks have emotional traumans. it has to be a way out. i am a strong believer…i just had a severe this morning…it started on July 2008 after my mom had stroke! Long story of family issues!

Anyone have inner ear problems/dizziness? Here’s a suggestion: Get the book “Phobia Free” by Harold N. Levinson. Get it used on amazon or from the library for I have no financial interest in Levinson’s work, just an emotional one. The book saved my life. Panic free for 16 years from a simple inner-ear medication called meclizine. Get your inner-ears checked, thoroughly. Write me on youtube, I’ll send links to 13 medical studies on pub-med showing link between panic/agor and inner ear problems.
